OPERA PETITES’ Brand new show for 2026

 Opera Petites brings the magic of opera into your school with a show allowing students from Pre-K to Grade 6 to laugh, sing, and lean in with wide-eyed curiosity. This isn’t sit-still-and-watch opera. It’s an energetic, interactive performance where students ask questions, jump into the action, and even come forward to be part of the story.

Performed by professional opera singers from the Sydney Opera House, the experience transports students into a world of bumbling buffoons, swooning sorcery, and mystical creatures.

In a brand new program for 2026, we feature scenes from beloved operas: Die Fledermaus, The Magic Flute, the hilarious Cat Duet “Meow” by Rossini, Romeo and Juliette, and many more.

After the rave reviews of 2025, this year brings more costumes, more props and more percussive elements that students can use themselves with an even bigger focus on the fun, comedic heart of opera.
